So, Cypress had her heart set on going to the summer festival and Rowan really wanted to have a pool party. I thought I would be able to nip down to the festival then have a late party.... So here's the family going to the festival... all five of them apparently.... Cypress must be in the trunk.
"What? Its just down the road! We love our daughter."
Ok then... if you say so.

So, this is the problem. They all want a picture, but then they get stuck inside the booth. So finally when they emerge its time for the party, past time... so I try to race them to the pool. Irene is the only one that makes it while the rest of them need to be reset. THEN after they get reset I take them to the pool where they are all so tired and hungry.
There is just enough time for a quick dip in the pool, a splash, and then they all run home. Unfortunately because of the route failure no one gets their wishes. boo!
I did however discover THIS gem in the pool washroom. Harris' usual pap is caught in the ladies taking pictures of Harris' boss!! HAhahahahHAH perv.
The next day is a gloomy sort of day, but Irene gets asked out on a date and I rush to say yes. Luckily he actually shows up!! Unfortunately for some reason he actively dislikes Irene, but they manage a bit of civil conversation. To my great sadness Irene doesn't wish to have much of anything to do with her erstwhile suitor. I spend long moments watching them and hoping for some romantic inclinations... or even friendly ones. Alas, it is not to happen and Irene's date ends and she comes home on her own.
Meanwhile at home there is a lot of art going on. Harris continues his inexplicable interest in painting. Layla still has a little ways to go to finally meet her LTW. She's at painting level 7, so we're really in no huge rush.
Cypress, gosh she's so cute. I love her BMO shirt too. Adorable.
Harris loves on his oldest son. Banyan isn't forgotten but ... meh... how many times can a person take a pictures of them burritos (even with legs)? They all look the same.
"So I think I met the love of my life."
"Oh really? Did the date go well?"
"Oh I don't know."

"Oh I don't know."
"So despite being non-commital, I feel like maybe I could get married."
"Ok well, can't wait to hear the wedding bells...."
Yeah, I don't think its going to happen. Irene hasn't rolled any wishes for romance of any type with any of her suitors or any person for that matter. She's a homebody loner, that's for sure.
